Oral appliance therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea is covered by most medical insurance plans. Certain written records are required (such as a written order from your physician, pre-authorizations for payment, etc.). The patient is responsible for deductibles, co-pays and other payments which are determined by your insurer. Our team will work closely with you and your physician to obtain the necessary written documentation and file the claim on your behalf.
Here are some common providers we often work with. This does not mean any coverage or non-coverage for the treatment. If you don’t see your provider here, give us a call at (617) 328-4050 for more information.
A note on Medicare
Medicare provides coverage for oral devices, but has stringent standards as to who is qualified to receive benefits. If you have questions about Medicare coverage please call our office so that we can help you understand your Medicare benefits and how to qualify for them.
