“Since using the device my sleep quality has improved massively. My wife says I hardly snore at all, and when I do it’s more like heavy breathing… The device fits so well because it’s custom-fitted to my teeth, that it’s not uncomfortable at all to sleep with.”
– Ryan

“I was worried about my oral device when visiting friends overnight or planning a camping trip with a large group. But it’s gotten so easy – from bed I just slip out the device into a small container in my cosmetics bag and then it’s all part of tooth brushing – no one has to see anything unusual. In fact I’ve gotten so used to it, I don’t think about it much. And my husband is so happy that I don’t snore anymore – he is sleeping much better as a result!”

“The best part of it is, I have lost at least 10 pounds since I’ve been using [the appliance] and I could never get the scale to move before.”
-Jannie F.

“I no longer plan my day around when I take a nap, which was a huge part of my day before. Trying to get enough sleep because the quality of my sleep was so poor before. It‚’s just wonderful.”

“I had very restless sleep and had to use the bathroom several times a night. After testing at a sleep lab I was deemed a good candidate for a dental appliance. Dr. Sever and all staff are very knowledgeable and professional, helpful and courteous. Using the device I have a sounder sleep and am much less tired during the day. I much preferred the dental appliance to a CPAP and it has been very effective for me. I would highly recommend this office!”

“I used to wake up feeling like I never even slept. I sought out information about the oral appliance and found Dr. Sever’s office. This is a very professional office and I received great service. I started wearing appliance more than 3 years ago and I still have so much more energy throughout the day, every day! I highly recommend this office over others because of their level of skill and experience.”

“I was overweight, waking up tired constantly….. now, I’ve lost 50lbs. I have all this new energy. I go to the gym constantly now. I feel so much better, and so much younger.”
– Frank T.

“I came to the office for oral appliance therapy for moderate sleep apnea which increased my symptoms of a major depressive disorder. Because of the apnea, I experienced inconsistent moods and levels of motivation. I was able to be seen quickly and with fantastic care! Everyone here is very friendly and willing to assist you. Dr. Sever and her team were very generous with their time and provide thorough explanations during the treatment. I wear the device every night and it has allowed me to sleep better, and my energy and mood are both significantly improved. I have so much more motivation for both work and fun!”

“For as long as I can remember, I have always woken up many many times at night and woke up in the morning extremely tired. I would snooze for over an hour, because my body just didn’t want to get up. This had gone on for 25+ years and I always thought that’s just how things were. I lived on coffee and even took naps during work because I couldn’t keep my eyes open no matter how early I went to bed the night before. When I finally looked into solutions for sleep apnea, Dr. Sever completely changed my life (and probably saved it). The difference is tremendous, and I now sleep through the night, and I can be very productive the next day. It’s life changing.”

“I’ve had the device for over 3 years. Before that I used the mask. I have to say I would never switch to anything else. My life has completely changed because of the device.”

Funny enough, when I first met my husband, he did not snore at all… Some nights were pretty bad, and I had to go into the spare room to get sleep. Then I invested in ear plugs, which worked most of the time. But on the nights that my husband had trouble breathing, they did not work 100% of the time.

I started to get really concerned when my husband would stop breathing during the night, and the silence would wake me out of a sound sleep. Then I no longer felt comfortable wearing ear plugs, as I wanted to be alert and prepared if my husband needed help.

My husband was diagnosed with sleep apnea, under the supervision of Dr. Sever, after a simple sleep test administered in the comfort of our own bedroom. Preparation for his sleep exam was easy, and the process took no more than three minutes from start to finish. I felt great because I was able to help him affix the monitors to his index finger and chest to record breathing rate, oxygen levels and heart rate.

When it was determined that my husband did in fact have sleep apnea, Dr. Sever put together a plan of attack that literally saved our marriage. My husband, who never had success with the CPAP machine, was fitted with an oral device that he now simply cannot sleep without – EVER!

Today, I can honestly say we enjoy a good night’s sleep – every night! We go to sleep and wake up in the same bed. THANK YOU DR. SEVER!

Do you wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air or feel like you just ran a marathon? Do you wake up several times at night to urinate? Have you put on weight and crave high fat, carbohydrate foods throughout the day? Are you unable to sleep on your back for an extended period of time? Does your wife and or kids complain that you snore loudly or “wheeze” when you are at rest? If you answered yes to any of these questions, like I did, please call Dr. Sever immediately.

I had never even heard about sleep apnea, until a few years ago when a friend of mine was describing his lack of sleep issues and his uncomfortable problems dealing with a machine called – CPAP. Realizing that I was experiencing most of the symptoms described above, I decided to do something about it after hearing an advertisement on the radio for Dr. Sever.

After the first meeting with Dr. Sever and her staff, I knew that I had made the right decision to drive over 25 miles to her practice in Quincy. Dr. Sever and her entire team were expertly aware of the manifestations of my sleep problems and more importantly, after consultation, offered a comfortable and affordable long term solution.

I had truly forgotten what it was like to get a good, solid night’s sleep. I no longer crave high fat foods, I no longer get up three or four times a night to urinate, I have started losing weight and I can now sleep on my back! And most importantly, my wife and kids are finally getting the good night’s sleep they deserve.

My entire family is grateful for Dr. Sever and her staff!

“Since I’ve been using the device, it’s been a life-altering mouth appliance. It’s done great things for my sleep. I do not snore anymore… my kids are very happy, my wife is very happy due to the fact that I’m not snoring anymore”
